St. Mary's Plainfield - NJ Roman Catholic Church

Our parish is one of the oldest Catholic churches in New Jersey located within the Archdiocese of Newark.  It was established in 1851 to serve the Catholic community in the Central New Jersey area.  Presently it serves approximately 5,000 parishioners with 1,000 Religious Education students and many groups of formation and ministry.

As you know better our parish through this website, we hope you also enjoy celebrating the sacraments in our church; keep growing spiritually and in Christian fellowship in our formation groups and initiatives; adore God keeping his commandments and find your mission in life gratefully serving God in ministry and evangelization.  We are eager that you join us giving glory to God with our life!
